My best friend got married on June 1st. It was a beautiful day – the sun was shining, the ceremony was lovely (I cried like a baby from the time she walked up the aisle to the time the newlyweds walked out the church) and the reception and party was gorgeous. Lots of good food and wine, dancing, cake and smiling people all around.
So many of you have asked for pictures – and I can’t wait to show you. I’ve just got a little bit of editing left. But here is a little sneak peek for now.
This is what 70(!!) honeycomb balls look like. The kid in me just wanted to jump around in them (and bring them home!). I didn’t. I’m an adult after all ;)
As you know, I was entrusted with the big job of decorating the party – I blogged about it here.
The colour scheme we went for was white, soft pink and grey – with a little hint of bright pink to spice it all up.
I had so much fun decorating the party. I’m glad it’s not my day job – boy there is a lot of work in putting a wedding together!
150 soap bubbles ready for when the couple walked out the church.
More to come – stay tuned..
