My best friend’s wedding – part III

June 26, 2013

Lots more photos from my best friend’s wedding, that I decorated.
Did you catch part I and part II?
Right after the ceremony at church we all came back to the village hall, where the reception and party were held. It was late afternoon and the sun was shining – it was a gorgeous and warm day. We had set up a big tent outside, where the guests was greeted with a glass of bubbly.
When the newlyweds came back (they had been off with a photographer), the wedding cake was served with coffee.
In stead of traditional cake toppings, the couple had chosen Hoptimists (hopping optimists) – I loved that! It was so Louise and Jacob.
At around seven o’clock we all sat down to enjoy a delicious four course dinner. I snapped a few pictures of the tables with all the candles lit before everyone came into the room.
The kitchen was busy..
I didn’t manage to get a shot of the first course, but all four courses were delicious.
The gift table was full of goodies.
That is it. I want to thank you for all your sweet comments about the decorations.
And most importantly I want to wish Louise and Jacob a lifetime of happiness. Thank you for entrusting me with the decorating job. I am happy that I got to be a part of your special day. May love always stay in your hearts. Love you. xo

Thank you dear. Yes, I wish I could show you. But the bride is not a fan of the camera at all!! I had to work really hard just being allowed to show the picture of her feet. So this is it – and I’m not photogenic anyway, so you’re not missing much! ;)

[…] Tonight I have a date with a very special friend who have been in my life the last 20 years. Although we don’t get to see each other so often, she is very special to me and I am looking very much forward to a night of great food and conversation. I had the honour of decorating her wedding last summer – I blogged about it here, here and here. […]
