I hope you had a nice weekend? I did. I spent Sunday having lunch with a bunch of my favourite people. Lovely friends, good food and great conversations – it doesn’t get much better.
I wanted to keep it simple and tapas inspired. so I baked a bread, made some tomato salad, wrapped som dates in bacon and baked them in the oven and bought some different cheeses, serano ham, chorizo, and different toppings like tapenade, artichoke cream, pesto and olives. And cut up som cucumbers and carrots. Oh and a jar of my mum’s homemade rhubarb/vanilla marmalade – yum!
Lovely friends bring lovely flowers. The house is blooming and I love it.

I’m so impressed with your blog. It has such a fresh, happy feel about it! And if this is a simple lunch….It looks wonderful!
Thank you kindly Nan – it warm my heart to hear that. I am still waiting on your blog ;)
Ha! When I comes to food I don’t know the word simple. I love any good excuse to cook and eat in great company. It was a beautiful afternoon, where my friends helped me say goodbye to my beautiful apartment before the packing set in. It has been more than nine years, so my friends wanted to say goodbye too. We all have so many memories from this place.
Everything look great and yum!!
Beautiful living room!

Thank you dear Mariela.
