Last Thursday I said goodbye to my home of more than 9 years. And I said hello to my new one.
I woke up at 4 am and couldn’t fall back a sleep. So I sat in my bed and witnessed the most gorgeous pink 4.30 am sunrise with a coffee and enjoyed the calm before the storm. Such a perfect send off.
I am sure going to miss those beautiful big and light rooms. Bye bye old home. Read more about the move here.
At 12 o’clock I got the keys to my new apartment. Great friends not only help you move – they also bring champagne to celebrate your new home!
I am so grateful for all the help my friends and especially my parents are giving me at the moment – I am very lucky to have great people in my life.
Since Friday morning we have been working hard at the new apartment. I want to get as much done as possible while I am off work on my summer holidays – doesn’t feel like much of a holiday though!
We are slowly but surely getting there – every inch of my new home is getting painted and cleaned and I can’t wait to move in.
If you want to see more sneak peaks from the new apartment, you can follow me on Instagram. I am spending most of my waking hours working on the new apartment these days, so I don’t have much time for the blog. But as soon as I have something to show I will be updating the blog. Cant wait to show you!
