The summer seems to have come and (almost) gone without me noticing this year. I’ve been so wrapped up in the move; first packing and then fixing up my new apartment. I’m still unpacking as we speak.
However I did manage to sneak off to one my favourite places – our summer house, my home away from home – for a weekend filled with sunshine, beach trips, barbeques in the garden, naps, bike rides, eating out, cool white wine on the terrace and quality time with a good book and people I love. This is what Danish summer is all about if you ask me.
Here’s to hoping summer will stay just for a little bit longer. I hope this photo spam from my beloved Rørvig will leave you with that summer feeling. x
Want to see more from the summer house? I’ve blogged about it under the tag ‘summerhouse’.
P.s. The post I promised you on how to do oil stained floors is coming up soon. It’s taking a little longer to write than expected as I can only type with my left hand these days. x R
