The perfect kitchen stool

September 19, 2013

I am looking for the perfect high stool/chair for the kitchen.
This spot right here is in desperate need of a beautiful stool (I hope you are taking notes, Santa!). To sit quietly with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of red wine while dinner is cooking and the kitchen is buzzing.

There are so many gorgeous high stools out there – these are some of the ones I have my eye on:

1 // ML42 Taburetten, by Lassen
2 // Gubi 3, Gubi
3 // About A Stool, HAY
4 // Nerd Bar Stool, Muuto

I want a classic one that doesn’t make too much noise. You know, next to that big noisy red Smeg fridge of mine! Also I love a good piece of classic design and the nordic feel of beautiful wood/white wood.

What is your favourite stool? Is there a great one out there I need to see?

I love the Gubi but I think the Hay one just beats it for me. Saying that I could just move into the Hay showroom as is. xxx

Haha, I know the feeling! I’m actually leaning most to the Hay on right now – or the Gubi one. Wish my taste wasn’t so expensive.. Ahem I mean exquisite ;)
