Mini house make over

October 9, 2013

little-houses-5 Remember the little town houses I made myself? I decided to give them a makeover. Grey is very high on my list right now and it is also a great colour for the winter season – so soothing. So I painted three of them in shades of grey to create a graduated look from white to dark grey.

They fit perfectly on my String Pocket shelf. Find my DIY guide right here, if you want to make your own. House shapes are still popping up all over the fall/winter collections.

BTW did you notice the curly-haired girl with glasses and a typewriter? Does she remind you of someone? Yup, it’s mini me! A portrait made by the talented Hunter from Atlanta. I bought it more than a year ago and it still makes me smile. Go visit Hunter if you want a portrait of yourself or your family.
