DIY paper globe

October 16, 2013

A few weeks ago I showed you my DIY little town houses. Did you notice the globe on the String shelf? It is called Le Paper Globe and I made it myself. Do you want one too? Make one! You just gotta love a good DIY project, right?

I love the simplicity of the shape and the black thin lines on the white background. I printed it out on white carton to get this look. You can print it out on any colour you want.

Joachim Roberts is a graphic designer and the man behind Le Paper Globe. You can download the template and instructions right here. Also go check out his facebook-page where you can share a picture of your globe, when you are done.

Be warned it is going to take a lot of time and patience – but it will be all worth it in the end. If you don’t have that kind of patience, check out Geografia, a Japan-based design studio that makes awesome paper globes.

Like the little houses also? Here is my DIY guide to make your own.
