I’m just stopping by to say hi. I hope you are enjoying Easter break? I sure am. We are spending it at the summer house, and so far it’s been filled with sunshine in the garden, lots of good food, Easter lunch with the whole family, relaxing, coffees by the fire and some peace and quiet.
Yesterday the weather gods spoiled us with a blooming temperature of 21,3 degrees C – which feels like summer to us Danes after a long and cold winter. So naturally I managed to get my first sun burn (I wore sunscreen, but my fair Scandinavian skin hasn’t seen sunlight since September), took my first outdoor shower of the year (ahhhh! Nothing beats showering in the afternoon sunshine with nothing but a blue sky above to the sound of singing birds – especially after a nice and warm run by the beach) and we even ate dinner outside last night for the first time in 8 months!
These last few months have been so busy and I’ve been running fast to keep up with everything. This Easter break was much needed and I can feel my batteries recharging. Also spring is blooming and summer doesn’t feel so far away after yesterday – and I do love summer. All four seasons are pretty, but summer is my favourite.
I hope your Easter break is full of all things lovely too. Enjoy the last bit of it x
