Hello there Fall

There is something about the seasonal change. It’s a reminder of the time passing and the visible changes of autumn always make me a little nostalgic and heavy at heart. It’s funny – the change from spring to summer makes me ecstatic and excited and I can’t wait for summer to get here with all the sunshine, long light days and bare feet in sandals, to name a few favourites.

When the leafs turn yellow and red and start to fall off the trees and the temperature goes down I feel a bit sad. It is such a visible reminder, that the darker and cold days are on their way – and next summer is so far away. Don’t get me wrong I do appreciate living in a part of the world where all 4 seasons have such a different expression, it’s just that summer seems to go by so quickly. It’s never quite long enough.

So this year I’ve decided to do something about that. If summer won’t stay with me, I’ll go find it – oh yeah! At the end of November I’m going to Thailand to spend a late fall break/early Christmas holiday on a beach wearing nothing but a swimsuit, sunscreen and sunglasses. I can’t wait! It’s my 4th trip to Thailand, but I’ve never been to Phuket before – so if you have any tips, please let me know.

So I’ve stocking up on sunscreen – an organic, toxin, perfume and parabens free one, just the way I prefer it. Oil for the body and cream for the face, both SPF30 considering my fair Scandi skin.

I worked on a little DIY project this weekend. Here’s a little sneak peak of the colours I used. They are a part of Sadolin’s new TOP7 colours. I am writing up the blog post as we speak, so it will be up on the blog in the next few days.

Mean while I hope you’re staying warm. I’ve gotten out the first sheep skin for the sofa and I’ve been drinking more tea lately. It’s a great way to stay warm and it helps me cut down my coffee intake. What’s your favourite tea flavour?

I still love this tea cozy so much (found here). The mug is from Vipp. Happy Tuesday x

I’m completely addicted to Pukka’s Detox tea! (it’s organic too!)
I drink tea during every season but during autumn and winter it always feels more cosy <3. I'm curious about the diy :).

Oh, you have such a pretty couch (and in general such a nice home)! Where’s it from?

[…] I’m still practising my tea drinking skills. It’s going good and I am finding more teas, that I enjoy. The kind people over at Løv Organic sent over a bunch of teas for me to try out. The beautiful tins and colours alone make my heart happy – and they cheer up the kitchen. All ingredients are organic, just the way I like it. So far I’m loving the Løv is Beautiful. It smells and tastes like summer and sunshine. Just what I need to keep warm on cold days. […]
