I woke up to this sight yesterday ^^. What a glorious morning – just what I needed after complaining about the cold and grey weather we’ve had all week.
My Saturday was all dressed in the colour scheme of autumn. I had a styling job to do and nature’s props are the best. I went out with my little basket and within 10 minutes it was filled with the most gorgeous colour explosion of burnt red, orange, yellow and brown. It reminded me that I kinda love autumn too, even with the cooler days. And I love that despite living in the city, I am surrounded of a beautiful garden and trees in the streets (and even a park just around the corner, even though I didn’t go there).
I’ll share the result of the styling job tomorrow – and there are prizes in to for you – so make sure to stop by tomorrow and get the details.
After the photo shoot I went over to my friends’ house for a Halloween gathering. Dorte served us ‘dead mice’ with ‘blood’ and ‘boiled spiders’. We drank ‘ghost juice’, toasted marshmallows over an open fire and carved Jack’o’lanterns – such a cherry afternoon in great company.
This little guy came as a surprise in the mail this week. The fairytale about the Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Anderson was one of my favourites as a kid – also he wears glasses like me, so we instantly bonded. He moved in to the Montana bookcase.
I think I’ll make gluten-free pancakes for breakfast today – it’s Sunday after all. Some of you have asked for my recipe, so I’ll shoot some photos and write a post with the details soon. Have a happy Sunday x© that nordic feeling
