Christmas via that nordic feeling

Christmas via that nordic feeling

Hello guys. I hope you are having a fab December so far. Did you enjoy the guest posts last week? (Here, here and here) I sure did. We got home from Thailand this weekend and I have been struggling with jet lag ever since. I don’t remember it hitting me this hard before, maybe I’m getting old(er)?! I’ve been waking up before the crack of dawn, which leaves me very tired early at night. Anyways that’s why I’ve been quiet so far this week. I’ll get up to speed soon.

Christmas via that nordic feeling

I can’t believe it’s the 10th of December already?! Starting my Christmas month in 35 degrees heat surrounded by palm trees, sunshine and orchids has completely scared away all my Christmas spirit. I’ll get it back, I know, but for now I haven’t even decorated the house. In Denmark it is tradition to do it on December 1st. So far my little pine tree and a few hyacinths are the only Christmas decorations around here. Speaking of the pine tree, so many of you have asked about the it. I’m sorry, but I don’t know what kind of pine it is. Can any of you help?

My birthday is coming up this weekend. Can’t believe it’s here already. It’s been a great year and for that I am very thankful. I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for me. I have a good feeling about it.

Have a great week guys, I’ll be back soon x

It is Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla). They are commonly sold as potted trees around Christmas. I’m planning to buy one too, in addition to a regular tree.
