Amsterdam via that nordic feeling

Good morning all. I jumped on a plane very early this morning. I’m off to Holland to visit Auping’s new sustainable factory in Deventer for the next two days followed by a weekend with friends in Amsterdam. I’m looking very much forward to hearing more about Auping’s cradle to cradle philosophy – you know how I feel about sustainability, recycling and protecting this beautiful planet we call home, so this is right up my alley. Also I get to sleep in an Auping bed tonight (win!).

It’s been a few years since my last trip to Amsterdam, so I’m very excited to go back. All tips for great sushi, coffee, design and shopping are much appreciated in the comments below, thanks! I’ll probably write a little guide for you when I’m back.

Btw I’ve finally updated the press-page with a few new features. I still have a few to sort out, but for now you can read the article from Countryliv where I give my take on the biggest trends of 2015 among others – check the press page with links to the articles right here.

Have a fab Thursday x

No way! I can’t believe this. So cool. I’m born and raised in Deventer and in the weekend I visit my parents who still live there a lot. And I currently live in Amsterdam. Haha, I can’t stop laughing now :) Have fun Rikke! Deventer is a beautiful city and if you go shopping you definitely have to visit the shop ‘Carlos in huis’. It is a beautiful shop with even nicer products :) XXXX
