Once a year people from all parts of Copenhagen flock to Bispebjerg Kirkegård, a big graveyard in the Northwestern part of the city. The reason; The cherry trees are blooming! And it is indeed a sight worth the journey. The avenue of pink blossoms is beyond pretty and fascinating.
This week is officially cherry blossom season so naturally I had to go too. And I am still high on pink. My friend Vicky and I made a day of it and went on a road trip. We had so much fun and made several stops along the way to visit some of my favourite architectural spots – I brought my camera so I could share them with you (in another post very soon). Today I want to share a little piece of cherry heaven with you.
We ended up stopping by twice – once during the day when the sun was high in the sky and again on our way back during golden hour. How could we refuse such a golden (pun intended) opportunity. It is literally the most photographed spot in Copenhagen this week.
Make sure to stop by if you are in or near Copenhagen this week. This will all soon be over and won’t be back until next year.

So so pretty
It’s amazing. Pictures doesn’t even do it justice. It feels like stepping into a pink floral world when you walk the avenue ♡

It’s like a pink piece of heaven! :)
O Wow. Beatiful! And what a beautiful of you with the blossom. X
They are gorgeous! A definite highligt of spring. And thank you, hehe. I do prefer to stay on the other side of the camera ;)
Hi! gorgeous photos of the Sakura! Do you think they will still be there by early May?
Thank you. Unfortunately not, they only last about a week as I write in the post. It’s a short but beautiful life.
So glad to see you!!
Xx
Haha! Thank you friend – I do prefer to stay on the other side of the camera ;-)
