It’s officially Fall Vacation week here in Denmark, although some of us are keeping the country running while the rest are drinking hot cocoa, taking long walks in the woods and enjoying themselves (jealous – who me?).
My fall holidays will be a short and working one this year, but who am I to complaint? I came home from my yoga and Pilates holiday in Greece two weeks ago. And I am leaving for Bergen, Norway at the end of the week to attend Bergen Design Story and the Interior Fair. I am very excited. First of all this is my first visit to Norway and I have heard many great things about Bergen. Luckily we have a day to explore and do some sightseeing before spending two days with all the other interior geeks – which I am also very excited about! Let me know if you will be there or if you have any great tips for restaurants, shops, sights etc. that we can’t miss out on.
It feels like someone pressed the fast forward button since I came home all centred and full of energy just a few weeks ago. I have been running around in my usual pace which means that I am out of the house every night and coming home late trying to catch up on emails and the blog very late at night – but somehow the energy I came home with is still going strong. I have woken up before my alarm clock every morning since. And that is a miracle! I am not a morning person (!) – especially not when I get into bed too late. I am curious to see how long this will last! Some of the good habits I learned on Crete are still sticking (a post coming up on that soon, I promise).
In other news I am planning a big Christmas styling I’ve been booked to do later this month. I LOVE Christmas, I’ll tell you, so I am all giddy and my heart is singing with joy. I almost played my Spotify Christmas play list last night while putting together a moodboard. I stopped myself (I did, really!), but I bet it will be on repeat the weekend of the photo shoot, eeek. Remember this from last year? Just a little peek to set the mood (smiley with hearts in its eyes). If you’re as excited about Christmas as me, take a look at the Christmas archives.
Last of all I have plans to catch the Yayoi Kusama IN INFINITY exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art this week. We tried to go on Sunday but had to turn around when we saw the line all the way from the ticket desk and way out into the street! It was okay, we ended up on a beautiful sunny walk in the woods instead and went out for a late lunch/early dinner. It’s also Italian Dining Week in Copenhagen (there are still a few tickets up for sale), so I have lovely dinner plans too – great week ahead!
I hope your week is full of fun things too – let’s make it a great one x© that nordic feeling
