Flowers on your doorstep

Imagine this; It’s Thursday afternoon. You’ve had a long day at work, too many meetings in a row and not enough time to answer emails and get work done. You’re tired and can’t wait to get home. You need a cup of coffee and a moment to put your feet up. You walk in the front door and up the flight of stairs to your apartment. Oh wait, what’s this? A beautiful curated bouquet of stunning fresh flowers is waiting on your doorstep.

Sounds good, right? In fact a bouquet is waiting for me at home. This has been my reality for a couple of Thursdays now. And yes, it is as good as it sounds!

So who is sending me flowers, you might think. It’s not a new admirer (unfortunately, ha!). It is Grøn Grøn, a new Copenhagen based Dutch firm, whose mission is to flower up flower-loving Copenhagener’s (like me) lives with beautiful flowers straight from the greenhouses and flower fields of Holland.

I first met Irene and Lyon, the girls behind Grøn Grøn, at Finders Keepers a few months ago. I loved the concept right from the get go and immediately knew, that I had to sign up. I love flowers and almost always have a fresh bunch in my home. I even have my own tag on Instagram called #Rikkesflowerdiaries.

The concept is brilliant! You sign up to receive flowers every or every other Thursday and you can choose from three different sizes of bouquets – more info here. They deliver in the greater Copenhagen area straight to your doorstep (or place of work if that suits you better). They even have a subscription for offices if you want to flower up your work life too.

I have a subscription for a big bouquet every other Thursday. The first bouquet was a mix of autumn’s colours like red, yellow and orange. Last time it was all white (the one in the photos) and I can’t wait to see what colours are waitinf for me when I get home today.

* This post is a collaboration with Grøn Grøn. All words and opinions expressed in the post are my own. As always, thank you for supporting my sponsors. They make it possible for me to do what I love.
