2015 in Tiny Squares and Big Words

December 31, 2015

On Instagram I have a tradition. At the last day of each month I make a collage of my favourite photos and write a goodbye to the month. In the end, this is the part I love the most about Instagram – well as much as all the lovely people I’ve met and the wonderful community that is – this way of looking back at the month and in the end year. Each tiny square reminding me of a feeling I had, a place I visited, people I’ve met, a thing I did. It has become a much cherished tradition to me. Whenever I look back and reread the caption, I’m right back at the moment I wrote it. I even have a special hash tag for it (this year: #thatnordicfeeling2015).

The last few days I’ve been working on saying my goodbyes to 2015 and it has reminded me of what a wonderful year it’s been. I want to keep all my favourite memories and words right here on the blog too, month for month, for safe keeping.

2015 has been an amazing year! One of the best yet. Travels in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Holland, Greece, Sweden and Norway. So many wonderful times spent with friends, wonderful sunsets and sunrises at home in Copenhagen, amazing and fun projects on the blog, quality time with my family, and wonderful new adventures. My heart is full and I feel so very thankful for it all. I am currently working on my wishes for 2016 and I am so ready! I believe in my heart of hearts it is going to be a wonderful year.

So here we go – this is what my 2015 looked like in tiny squares and big words:

Happy New Year! I hope you have an amazing year to look back at too.
