Hi guys! I am running around like a crazy person this week getting all the last details for the new Nordic town house in Roskilde, I’m decorating, together. On Sunday it will be all done – and you are invited to come and take a look at the open house event. Details later in the post.

I am sitting here blogging while the last rays of evening sun are dancing around on the floor creating beautiful patterns. The room smells heavenly from the lavender I just picked in our garden 20 minutes ago. I am listening to my favourite playlist and eating an ice cream. It’s my second one today. But who’s counting, right? Pretty okay Thursday if you ask me.

It’s been a busy week and this is the first time I have an evening at home in weeks. On Monday I spent all afternoon at BoConcept picking out all the last bits and bobs for the house in Roskilde. They have so many great things, so it was a challenge sticking to the budget, but I managed with a little creativity.

The house is nearly there! The painters finished last week, all the furniture from BoConcept was delivered yesterday and all of the last details are falling in to place in the next few days. I am spending all day Saturday decorating and styling the rooms. So exciting! I can’t wait to see the finished result. I have been working on this project for 5 months now. When we began it was just a field with a building site on it. And now there’s a house! It’s kinda amazing if you think about it.

On Sunday there is an open house event in the afternoon from 2-4 pm. Stop by if you have the chance! I will be stopping by too so do say hi if you see me :) Find more info and the address right here. You can also follow along on Instagram over the weekend if you are curious to see a few sneak peeks.

And don’t worry if you can’t stop by. I will be sharing all my best tips along with photos and videos over the next months right here on the blog – stay tuned.

I have been using my new beautiful notepads from Kartotek, one of my favourite stationary brands, to keep track of all the details in the big house project.

In other news my two favourite lamps in the world have moved in recently. I have a lot of photos to share with you – I will soon. Once the house is finished I can breathe again. Meanwhile can you guess what lamps I am talking about? Maybe you have spotted one of them on Instagram, if you follow along over there.

Happy almost weekend guys! x
