The summer holidays are over on my behalf. Tomorrow it’s back to work and routines and waking up early in the morning. Although I hope summer will last a little longer even if I am back at work, I want to keep a little piece of summer here on the blog, before it’s all gone. Something to look back on whenever life gets too busy or the weather too dull and cold. So I made a little movie with some of my favourite moments from my this summer.

So here it is – a 60 second mash-up of my summer – don’t forget the sound!

My summer

Music: Intro by The XX. It is one of my favourite songs ever.

To sum it all up in words, summer of ’16 was all about: Sunshine, the summer house, my favourite people, cold white wine, sunsets at the beach, sand between the toes, starry nights, barbecues, visit from friends from near and far, swimming in the ocean, freckles, sun-kissed curls, reading books, coffee breaks at my favourite places, ice creams, sleeping in, time to read the newspaper outside in the sun over an extra cup of coffee, long walks in the woods and on the beach, cocktail hour, biking around, beach trips, going thrift hunting for treasures, naps in the hammock, conversations in the last evening sunlight, time to stop and think – time to relax and do absolutely nothing.

I really needed this break after a busy and eventful year so far. I feel ready to take on the rest of 2016. How was your summer? I hope you enjoyed yours too x
